Hard gel nails vs acrylic. Gel nails dont have a chemical odor. Also a huge bonus of gel nails is that you can add length and essentially create the dream nails. Hard gel can withstand greater pressure and it is less likely to break or crack than acrylic is.
A synthetic nail tip is applied to the natural nail then the solution is placed over both and blended to make the entire nail look like one natural nail. Once the solution is applied it can be molded into a variety of shapes and lengths. Yes gel nails cost more and take longer to apply but they are durable and last much longer.
A manicure can last up to 3 weeks. I found this easier to apply than acrylic in the beginning. Hard gels are not much different than Acrylic Nails.
