Are acrylic nails safe for 13 year olds. The reason I had the overlay put on is because she has a SERIOUS habit of biting her nails and I. If you are worried about the upkeep of them maybe tell her she can first start with gel nails. If you do go ahead then go somewhere that hand files and doesnt use an e-file and make sure she doesnt pick them off.
